Festival Chorus

Under the direction of Noby Ishida, the Festival Chorus will rehearse during Festival Week from 4 to 6 pm Monday to Friday (August 1-5). A dress rehearsal with instruments will be held 3-5 pm on Saturday August 6. The Festival Choral Concert will be held at 8 pm on Saturday, August 6.

Repertoire for 2022 will be chosen based on participant registration. Music will be chosen and distributed by June 1.

Music scores and the password to access the practice parts will be provided when your registration is confirmed.

Community Voice Workshop
Monday, Thursday and Friday of Festval Week at 3 pm, chorus members from the community can participate in small group workshops lead by a festival artist. These workshops will focus on breath for easier singing, physical freedom to enable better vocal production, and exploring the song to give a stronger more confident performance.

All workshops, classes and rehearsals are open to be observed or audited by the general public.
